Women have a strength in them that is more powerful than the strongest of men. This is what threatens the weakest of men and, historically, leads to subjugation and oppression of women. But wait... before my opinions are hijacked and turned into something they're not ...
Neither man nor woman holds a place of sole importance. Without women, there can be no children born; and without men, there can be no women impregnated. That's the basic part, but in between all that "breeding", is life. The day-to-day survival and living part of our existence.
My observations obviously focus from the side of a woman -since I am a woman. No intention of being one-sided, but I think it would be presumptuous and disrespectful of me to speak on behalf of male motivations, thoughts, and feelings, so I won't.
I feel like the most important thing to impress on women, as a whole, is the importance of self-love and reliance. If you don't like yourself, without care of what others think; can't take care of your basic needs, without someone else's help; and, don't know your own beliefs and wants, without someone else's input, your life simply isn't yours.
Men maintain the power to enforce expectations in society, but it's women who set those standards or, at the very least, have the ability to do so. Despite being considered "emotional" creatures, we are more resilient when it comes to handling emotional fallout. Maybe it's because it's deemed more acceptable for us to experience and display emotional reactions than men. Ironically, the one emotion that is not considered acceptable for women to exhibit is the very emotion men are not looked down on for exhibiting - anger.
Some of us walk in silent strength while others loudly and proudly rebel. It's our diversity that makes us a powerful force. Which brings me to the second threat or maybe it's the first -ahead of weak men- and that is toxic women. But I won't dwell on that.
If a woman knows herself, likes and loves herself and is self-reliant, the following things tend to happen in her life:
She will attract a man who matches her energy and direction.
She will have and maintain friendships that are positive and supportive.
Her choices will be successful -whether she chooses to be a trad-wife, SAHM, career woman, military ...
Her life balance will require little effort to maintain.
Focus on your path and no one else's. Just as you don't require anyone else's approval, they don't require yours and the divine always lift each other up.
